Video Call button now in your Facebook Chat

Yesterday I observed, while chatting with a friend, that facebook has added the video call button announced a while back.

This will enable users who have video cameras or webcams attached or integrated on their computers to make video calls to the person they are having  a conversation with. Provided that the recipient also has video calling capabilities.

When you first click on the video call button in your chat window (starting from clicking on someone you want to chat with), facebook servers will push a file for you to download. Click on ‘save file’ after which you run the downloaded file. Once set up is complete, you are ready for your first call.
